Audi Q7 had always claimed its stylish statement wherever and whenever it is being launched. But since carrying the same avatar for many of the years, it is now the time for SUV’s big daddy to change its aura and get itself dwelled in the new skin as soon as possible.
The competitor of the luxury SUV is increasing day by day, and Audi too had felt the need of changing its Q7 to make a better position in the market. And that’s why we had been bestowed with the spy shots of new-generation Q7 prototype doing test rounds under heave camouflage.
Our friends at the Autoevolution hadn’t mentioned the location where they had witnessed this test mule doing test run, but affirmed that Audi may debut it somewhere by the end of 2014.
The test vehicle doesn’t seems to be of the production specific or in the complete conceptual form, as its old set of headlamps does from A4 says Audi is not going to commit a mistake of bellying the such expensive gas guzzling SUV with such an old school tweak. Instead, we hope the Ingolstadt based carmaker to do it with the Matrix cluster which the new A8 is going to flash publicly at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.
And apart, it may also be possible that carbon fiber would be used extensively on the next generation Q7 because, trimming the 350 kgs from its existing body line will help it to carve more of the twist very easily and also some extensive notches in the context of better fuel-efficiency.
