With the radical design being more in demand, the next-gen Chevrolet Cruze also got itself dwelled in that same avatar. Spotted at the company’s parking lot in China, the new Cruze looks all set to be unveiled at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show in the coming days.
Looking at the test mule, Chevrolet has given its new sedan a bulge of new attire. The headlamps now become more radical and sharper, while the bonnet is seeing a couple of creases. The shoulder lines are now more sophisticated, while the front grille is seeing a larger air dam with a better yet slimmer portion for its bowtie logo fixture. The daytime running LEDs too can be seen on the front. Meanwhile, the chunks of tweaks are there on the rear as well. With the Camaro inspired tail-lamp cluster the C-segment sedan of Chevrolet gets a third tail lamp fixed on the boot edge, placed just above the logo.
Hopefully, this time the diesel rocket of Chevy is sound to be sporting the petrol engine as well.
On interiors, the steering wheel receives multifunctional buttons on them. Dashboard now seems a bit more luxurious with the large LCD screen and curved contour.
However, the Chevrolet has used a new platform for the new Cruze i.e. D2xx platform.
Well, the engine specifications are said to be fabricated as per different markets. It will be interesting to see how well the Indians are going to accept it when it will be launched. Anyone can put down their thoughts now even, claiming whether they find the new Cruze better, or the old one is still made to last.
