The 8th generation Hyundai Sonata has been revealed. The company has released a set of photographs which shows various aspects of the car. The car was slated for global unveiling at the New York Auto Show on April 19th later this year.
The Sonata is Hyundai’s first car to be based on the company’s new age Sensuous Sportiness design language and that is why the car gets a sporty four- door coupe like body which marks a clear departure from the design the earlier Sonata had.
As far as features are concerned, the new Sonata comes with something they call Hidden Lighting Lamps which performs a dual role of daytime running lights as well as a chrome strip.
On the inside, the car gets a more premium look. Interior features include large touchscreen infotainment system, slim central ac vents, four-spoke leather wrapped steering wheel and cruise control. The car is slated to go on sale in international markets by the second half of this year.
