The new SsangYong Korando SUV would be unveiled at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. This would be the third-generation of Kornado SUV and will sit above the SsangYong Tivoli in the company’s global lineup. Both the Tivoli and the new Kornado would share the same platform – the X100. In fact, this platform would also underpin the upcoming Mahindra XUV300.
Another similarity between the two cars is expected to be in the engine department. The Kornado is likely to borrow Tivoli’s engine along with a new 1.5-liter petrol engine.
A few teaser images have already been released of the car and from them we know that the new Kornado would borrow styling cues SIV-2 concept which was shown earlier.
