At the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, Nissan had showcased the Evalia facelift. It is just a minor facelift that has been introduced by the company. The changes that are mostly featured in the car are with respect to giving the car a much better and premium look. This mildly updated version has more of chrome detailing on the tail gate. At the front, the grille of the car has also been changed. Speaking about the interiors of the car, the cabin now seems to be updated with faux wood finish on the centre console.
It is recently that the car underwent such changes and it happened only after the vehicle saw updates in terms of equipments and the option of sliding windows at the back along with captain seats in the second row. Looking at the demand for the car in the market, one can easily say that the car has not done well in the MPV segment. Nissan is hoping that the updated version of the car would strengthen its position in the market by attracting more of commercial buyers.
