Energetic, Premium and Advanced are the three words that Nissan had used to position the new Micra on the shelves. Energetic Design, Premium Interiors and Advanced Features are probably designed in the new form to create Japanese context aggressive in the mass selling segment called hatchback.
V shaped front grille, new headlamp, LED tail lamp, fresh set of alloys, sporty rear bumpers, and rear spoiler are some of the terms that Japanese are asking for the starting price tag of Rs. 4,79,900 ex showroom Delhi, whereas the higher end petrol trim is also made available in CVT transmission for Rs. 6,39,250. These were all for the gasoline trims, and the diesel trims starts at Rs. 5,99,900 taking the premium notch to a massive Rs. 7,14,000.
Apart from the 2013 Micra facelift, Nissan has also launched Micra Active, which is a minute facelift to the existing generation with sporty rear bumpers, rear spoiler etc., divulged at a starting price tag of Rs. 3,50,000 ex showroom Delhi. No diesel or CVT transmission made available on the Active badge.
Commenting about the CVT transmission, Nissan official had claimed the 2013 model as a first of its kind to be deployed in the hatchback segment and is also delivering the fuel efficiency of 19.49 kmpl, quite more than what the other manual transmission are dwelling. Engine specification remains same with 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel.
