After a long heave of expectations and sneak peek, Nissan finally unveiled the first compact SUV “Terrano”, which is most probably based on the Duster’s platform. However, it seems quite better than the French sibling, as Nissan says Terrano follows the DNA of SUV like Patrol and Pathfinder, but hopefully, it isn’t doubt that ‘Duster’s sales’ is the actual fact behind Nissan for taking up this step.
However, we expect the Japanese carmaker to use the same engine of that the Duster i.e. 1.5L K9K diesel, where about the price Nissan had said to slot it below Rs. 10 lakh for the starting point. Launch is expected to happen in the start of October 2013, while deliveries may commence from the end of same (October).
The last yet the important actor of Terrano unveiling is, one can book their own Terrano during the start of “September 2013” as said officially, so we need to be there tracking the number for which it can be seen swallowing the Renault Duster easily at its best.
