Jeep Wrangler is one of the most renowned SUV in the world and it was the iconic moment when the assembly line at Chrysler’s Toledo Assemble Complex rolled out the one millionth Jeep Wrangler JK. The iconic moment was witnessed by Chrysler Executives, employees at the plant, representatives from UAW and suppliers. Chrysler’s Vice President of Vehicle Assembly Operations, Mauro Pino and Jeep Unit Chairman of the UAW Local 12, Dan Henneman drove the black Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary edition, which is bound to reach customer in Sarasota.
Speaking on the occasion Pino said that every Jeep Wrangler sold around the world has been born at the Toledo plant in Ohio. Since the opening of the facility about eight years ago, Workforce at Toledo has built each of the million vehicles with the passion, pride and focus on the quality. He also expressed his hopes that they will soon be making another million. He also appreciated the efforts of the workers and said that more than 600 workers representing the UAW comes to the Wrangler plant everyday with the dedication that is not seen anywhere in the industry. According to Zach Leroux, who is plant manager at the Toledo plant said that they appreciate the thing that they are the one who are keeping the legacy of Jeep and they took it quite seriously. Everyone in the team is quite excited to become a part of this milestone.
The Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary edition has been named after the America’s most challenging off-road track, has become one of the most capable vehicle ever. The new limited edition vehicle has been blessed with some hardcore off-roading accessories like additional ground clearance, steel winched bumpers with removable caps, new rock rails and BF Goodrich KM2 off-road tires.
According to Henneman the workforce at Toledo plant knows well that the Jeep’s success is directly a part of the quality of the vehicle.
