India has been witnessing an influx of luxury car manufacturers at a steady pace over the past few months now. The latest entrant to join Aston Martin, Ferrari, Bugatti, Maserati, Koenigsegg and Lamborghini is another exotic car manufacturer, Pagani.
This Italian super car manufacturer is apparently on the lookout for an importer, according to sources. Pagani will reportedly offer their Huayra in India for a sum for Rs.15 crores. The manufacturer is very positive about the premium sports car segment in India, and anticipates selling around 10 models in the first year itself.
The Huayra has a Mercedes-AMG 5980cc V12 M158 Bi-Turbo engine that is capable of producing 700 horsepower and a peak torque of 1000Nm. This gives the car an acceleration rate of 0 to 100kmph in an astounding 3.5 seconds only, with a 370kmph of top speed. We had recently reported about Aston Martin introducing their super exclusive One-77 model in the Indian market. With the introduction of Pagani’s Huayra, however, it looks like this super car will give it some serious competition when it is finally unveiled in India.
