24 Hours of Le Mans race is around the corner and Porsche revealed a new ‘Martini Racing Edition’ of 911 Carrera S to mark its return to the race. Though the pricing is not announced, yet the car is said to be limited only to 80 units.
This limited Porsche will see the daylight in Europe from this month, with China, Japan and Latin America followed later on.
On the special note, the Porsche 911 Carrera S Martini Racing Edition features options of black and white paintjob. Martini racing decals covers boot lid, roof section, rear wing and sides.
On the interiors, the stainless steel illuminated door sills and dashboard accents can be found adored with the “Martini Racing Edition” badge. Steering wheel gets a new sport design and Sport Chrono package is now standard. Other fits and finishes included in the standard list are Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation module, a Bose sound system, tachometer with black gauge dial and all-electric sport seats in black leather.
Under the hoods, its heart is the same as of the outgoing model – a 3.8-litre flat six-cylinder engine of 400 hp. The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds with a PDK gearbox and activated Sport Plus button. Combined fuel consumption retards it at 8.7 litres per 100 km and CO2 emissions are 202 g/km.
European markets circle for Porsche includes countries like Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Finland and Great Britain. China is reported to see it in August 2014, where Japan and Latin America from October 2014.
And lastly, those who hadn’t fall in the aforesaid markets, Porsche Tequipment will be selling the exclusive Martini decal set as an aftermarket kit in Germany and other markets.
