Both the machines are paired to a 7-Speed Porsche PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission. The diesel returns fuel-efficiency of 6.9 litres/100 km and CO2 emissions of 182 g/km, where the petrol motor does 8.9 litres/100 km and CO2 emissions fares at 208 g/km.
Porsche Macan will be imported in India in the form of CBU (completely built up-units) manufactured at Leipzig plant in Germany.
Porsche Macan for Indian market will come loaded with standard features like ride height adjustable air suspension system, all-wheel-drive, interior lighting package, bi-xenon headlamps, electrically operated tailgate and 3-Zone automatic climate control.
To be a bit specific, Porsche had derived Macan from the Indonesian word of tiger.
