Renault India seems to be on the car introducing spree. The French automobile manufacturing company revealed its third vehicle from proposed car lineup called Renault Pulse on the 29th of October. Mr. Carlos Ghosn, Chief Executive Officer of Renault said they might mull up a sub-Pulse hatchback for challenging Hyundai i10 and Volkswagen UP in B-segment cars. The Sub-Pulse is expected to be engineered and designed in cooperation by Renault and its subsidiary Nissan. The A-platform Renault-Nissan will likely be introduced as a concept in the year 2014 that opens possibility of its introduction in 2015.
Renault has gained a legitimate reputation in the market by providing the customers with high performance cars, and has also gained enough sales momentum in India. There are three more vehicles in the Renault’s lineup, out of which Renault Duster and Renault Pulse will be launched next year. On the other hand, Nissan is also planning to launch the small vehicle based on Nissan Micra hatchback in 2013. Nissan is also trying to get involved in A-segment vehicles, which is at present dominated by Maruti Alto. Some of the new vehicles, which will soon be introduced in B and A car segments, include Skoda Citigo and Volkswagen UP. Ford India is also planning to introduce the hatchback under Ford Figo in A-segment.
