Renault sold Duster in exaggerating numbers worldwide, but still fears of losing it somewhere in competition with the latest compact SUVs, and for that reason it launched a Adventure Edition in India at Delhi Auto Expo 2014 for a price tag of Rs. 12.18 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. The Adventure is only for the 110 PS RxL variant buyers done with only cosmetic changes and additional features, nothing cranked new on the technical aspect.
Confirming the additional features first, USB port, four speakers with steering mounted controls, dual airbags, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, MediaNav system and electrically adjustable ORVMs are there to name. mentioned below are the list of cosmetic changes the Renault Duster Adventure has got:
- Smoked headlights
- Door side sill
- New alloy wheels
- Adventure Decal on Tallgate D-Pillar
- Front ‘Armour’ with Lamps
- Wheel Arch Cladding
- Side Body Moulding
- Lime Green Seat Fabric Upholstery and Door Trim Fabric Insert
- Piano Black finish on the center console and steering wheel
- Metal finish grab handle
Power to Duster Adventure edition is derived from the same 1.5L diesel engine of 110 PS @ 3,900 rpm and 248 Nm @ 2,250 rpm, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. To be a bit offensive on the traction note, Duster is still riding on a 2WD layout, with 16-inch wheels.
