For the most of sales to be bragged in its bag once against over the festive season, Renault confirmed to launch its all-wheel Duster on September 24, 2014.
Under the official scanner it will be tagged as “Renault Duster AWD” – having several distinguishes over the existing version. Smoked headlamps, gun-metal finished alloys and AWD decals over the body could be named.
Internally, it will hone 3-pods for instrument cluster, a sportier steering-wheel, red and grey tone in bright shade for upholstery, and fresh central console carried over from Duster Adventure Edition. The centre-strip of dashboard is tweaked to grey instead of beige against the regular trims.
Hopefully, in the term of pricing Duster AWD will sit on the top line as better equipped too. Figuring the standard list, there lays cruise and traction control, speed limiter, gear-shift indicator, cabin temperature gauge, fuel efficiency indicator and satellite navigation system. A 2-din audio system aided with USB, AUX and Bluetooth compatibility is integrated. For the safety Brake Assist, dual front airbags, ABS, EBD are gained.
Powerhouse underneath the bonnet is consisted of existing 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine reading-out 110PS and 248Nm of torque, married to 6-speed manual gearbox.
As per speculations, pricing may drop in the vicinity of Rs 11.25- 12.25 lakh.
