The Renault Duster facelift has been launched in India at Rs.7.99 lakhs for the base petrol model and price goes up to Rs.12.50 lakhs for the top end diesel model. Nine variants of the car has been launched in total – three petrol and six diesel.
The petrol variants are powered by a 106HP 1.5-liter four-cylinder unit while the diesel Renault Duster is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged unit in two different states of tune. The lower version puts out 85HP and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, while the higher version puts out 110HP and is mated to a 6-speed manual or AMT transmission. The petrol unit comes with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed CVT automatic gearbox.
Outside changes in the new Duster include a new grille with chrome, a new bonnet, new projector LED headlights, new front bumper and roof rails. On the inside it gets a new steering wheel, an updated infotainment system, faux aluminium trims and rectangular AC vents on the central console.
