Renault officially rolls out Twin’Run

Putting a halt on all the speculations and paying homage to the legendary Clio V6 and R5 Turbo, Renault has rolled out its Twin’Run vehicle. Cultivating Renault’s passion for racing, Twin’Run is a full throttle performance car picking up from where Clio V6 and R5 Turbo had left off.

Celebrating the motorsport history of Renault, the Monaco people got to see in action the three racers pursuing on the track.

The Clio V6 was manned by Formula One (F1) star Charles Pictures.

On tail was Maxi 5 Turbo with Jean Ragnotti, a celebrated driver and leading the way was the Twin’Run driven by Carlos Tavares, the chief operating officer (COO).

Perfectly blending with the series concept the Twin’Run is an illustrated Renault design strategy. The diamond eclipsed front end highlights the well known car maker’s innovative styling approach with the help of its novel brand uniqueness.

Similar to TwinZ the Twin’Run is in blue referring to the fifth stage of French Marque’s design strategy. Twin’Run stamps the world of motorsport.

According to senior vice president Corporate Design Renault Group Laurens Van Des Acker calls it a cocktail of passion, energy as well as athleticism.

“The innovative car is a cocktail of power, fervor in addition to athleticism, rekindling the memory of characteristic Renault racers. Accompanying its identical twin, Twin’Z, a fashionable urban concept vehicle, Twin’Run illustrates that personalization is a key approach at Renault,” Van Des Acker added up.

Twin’Run, has a compact, ultra-dynamic body. The wheels set in the far corners, minimal overhang and high waistline underscore the dynamic feel and promise a great drive.

Fitted with a V4Y Renault-Nissan Alliance engine is in competition with the Megane Trophy racer. The V6.3, 498 cubic centimeter power plant delivers torque of 380nm at 4,850 rpm and 6,800 revolutions per minute (rpm) on 320 horsepower (H.P.).

The glass polyester bodywork is also racing expertise concept and including the roof, wheel arches, front blade and rear vents.
