Renault is already marketing its premium hatchback Pulse aggressively in India and so far it has received a good response from the auto lovers in the country. But Renault seems to have realised this fact as they have unveiled the diesel variants of the Pulse at the Auto Expo in Delhi today. Two different versions of the Renault Pulse Diesel variant will be made available – Renault Pulse RLX and Renault Pulse RZX, priced at Rs.5.77 lacs and Rs.6.25 lacs (ex-showroom) respectively. The company is also offering 2+2 years warranty or 80,000kms, whichever happens first.
The diesel Renault Pulse will be powered by K9K 1.5 DCi all-diesel engine, which is capable of delivering an output of 64 bhp @4000 rpm, with a peak torque of 160Nm @2000rpm. According to Renault the Pulse diesel will deliver a mileage of 23.8kmpl.
The Renault Pulse RXZ variant of this hatchback will come with features like start stop button, auto lock sensor, smart access key, auto climate control, leather covered steering wheels, gear knob as well as weather defogger with timer, roof spoiler, 15-inch alloy wheels and frontal fog lamps. The RLX version will have things like power steering, all-power windows, air-conditioning, integrated audio system, central locking, rear wiper and washer etc. as standard features.
