The Tata Indigo eCS VX, is the shortest sedan, having maximum length for hatchbacks; but looks and spacing wises matches a full grown sedan. It is available both in options of petrol and diesel engines.
The diesel variant has a 16 valve, Common Rail CR4, DOHC engine whereas the petrol version has MPFI engine equipped with 32-bit microprocessor. The diesel engine achieves max torque of 140 Nm between 1800-3000 rpm, thereby making it an economical car. The car has capability of delivering 25kmpl mileage and as per ARAI that makes it, India’s most fuel-efficient sedan.

Exteriors: Having been built on a compact sedan platform, the new Tata Indigo eCS VX is less than four meters in length, however its boot finishes off too quickly for it to be termed as a true sedan. Exterior features, however, include the following:
