Rolls Royce Ghost facelift was already reported to be there in the works some days back, now once again the test mule of same has appeared on internet in the un-camouflaged avatar.
The upcoming Ghost looks like the cosmetic change only, and not the technical one. Hence, naming those new tweaks we learnt, front fascia has been restyled and the bumpers are given new looks along with the new daytime running LED lights. The headlights is expected to have gone slightly larger than the current generation, while the side wall of front grille also seemed a bit changed, and made slimmer.
However, there aren’t any reports of some exclusive changes inside the cabin at the time of writing, hence there wouldn’t be any exception that the British carmaker may add new shades of upholstery and paint job to the list of Ghost facelift.
Rolls Royce Ghost facelift will be unveiled in 2014.
The technicalities, as said above, shall remain same with the 6.6-liter V12 turbocharged engine delivering the output of 563 ponies (420 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft), but chances are there that it may be slightly tweaked under the bonnet in order to look after the raising awareness of fuel-efficiency.
Informative bit: Rolls Royce Ghost uses BMW 7 Series platform, and will using the same even in facelift version as well.
