Everyone wants a piece of rich-India, earlier it was the British, now it’s their carmaker “Rolls-Royce”, who just opened a showroom in Ahmedabad, Gujarat for cashing upon the wealthy Indians.
This is the fourth showroom of luxury British automaker here after Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. It is located at Thaltej Crossroad, a major thoroughfare near the Ahmedabad city.
Named as Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ahmedabad, the new showroom boasts a floor space of 2,637 sq.ft displaying two Rolls-Royce cars, and the customer lounge where prestigious Indians can choose ample of shades and woods trim for personalizing their new Rolls.
Motive behind the opening of new Rolls-Royce showroom in Ahmedabad is to look after the sales of whole West India.
However, Navnit Motors is decided to look after this new home of Rolls Royce. Sharad Kachalia, Director of Sales and Marketing, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ahmedabad and Mumbai said: “We aim to deliver the most beautiful, hand-built motor cars to our customers in Gujarat. With this new showroom, customers will be able to talk to our brand experts and order the latest Rolls-Royce models like Wraith. I am very pleased to be able to continue supporting the brand in India, which has a long heritage in this market.
Meanwhile, as the Rolls had entered a new fray of customers section, Herfried Hasenoehrl, General Manager, Emerging Markets Asia also seems quite excited about the selling the cars in fifth largest city of India (Ahmedabad). On the inauguration ceremony of the new sales floor, he commented: “We are delighted to be able to expand in India, a market which represents excellent long-term business potential. Along with Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Chandigarh, Ahmedabad is another milestone in our strategy of gradual, sustainable business growth. This new home of Rolls-Royce in Gujarat will be managed by one of the country’s most experienced luxury automotive retailers, Navnit Motors, which opened our first dealership in Mumbai during 2005, after a long absence from the Indian market. The history of our cars in India has produced highly Bespoke Rolls-Royce cars like ‘The Star of India’, and so we continue this service today.”
Well, that’s not an end to the Indian journey of luxury British marquee here, a showroom in Chandigarh is also on the list, which will see the inauguration by end of 2013.
