The debut of Rolls Royce Wraith at 2013 Geneva Motor Show stunned us, and more hopingly the carmaker had said to launch it in India too at the upcoming festive season, is what we had been made to known about it in the recent days. And about the confirmation, there aren’t any of them made by the officials of Rolls Royce yet.
Though, it doesn’t matters, the ‘spy picture’ on this post conveys the action of officials in the best form ever!
However, the source not made us known where this car was caught exactly, but it is very clear the Wraith had been landed on Indian shores successfully.
The powering of Wraith comes from a 6.6-liter V12 TwinTurbo engine producing 624bhp and 800Nm of torque. 0-100km/h takes only 4.6 seconds despite being lugged so heavily with oodles of luxury in the best form ever.
Wraith is a two door coupe of the Rolls Royce, which can do even Nürburgring in the extremes, and had engulfed itself with BMW 7 Series platform underneath, garnished by latest in technology features.
Commenting about its launch for Indian fraternity, Mr. Marc Mielau, General Manager, Marketing, Rolls Royce Motor Cars said to our friends at IAB, “It will be in India in time for the wedding season!! I can tell you that. We’re very excited!”
Hope so, Mr. Mielau had reclined us for the duration between September-November.
Rolls Royce has priced Wraith in UK from 235,000 pounds (INR 2.21 crores), where Indian government ask for a 100% import duty for bringing a completely built car (CBU) on our shores. It means the Indian who is able to pay the price of not less than INR 4.5 crores can own this masterpiece, which even Rolls Royce has said is one-of-its kind ever made by them.
