Motorsport enthusiasts in Mumbai – block your schedule for 29th January 2012. An Autocross event will be organized by Sportscraft at Somaiya Grounds situated in Sion, East Mumbai. It will be open for four and two wheelers and anyone can participate. The Rotocross is carried out in connection with Rotary Club of Deonar and will be held under International Sporting Code of FIM (Federation Internationale de Motorcyclisme, FIA (Federation Internationale de L’Automobile and NCR (National Competition Rules of FMSCI). The bike categories include Foreign bikes up to 250cc – Class two and four Stroke Group A; Bikes up to 165cc – two stroke Group C; Bikes up to 165cc – four stroke Group C; Bikes above 165cc up to 260cc – two and four Stroke Group B and Scooter up to 160cc – Group C, two and four stroke Group C.
The four wheeler categories include up to 1000cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel; 1001cc to 1400cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel; 1401cc to 1600cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel; 1601cc to 2000cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel; Above 2000cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel; 800cc up to 1000cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel Ladies class; 1001 cc up to 1400cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel Ladies class; 1001cc uptp1600 cc – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel Rotarian class and Open Class Indian + Foreign – Group N+ Petrol & Diesel.
