The Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 would be launched on 14 th November in India by Royal Enfield. Both the bikes have already been launched in the US. While in the US, both the bikes carry a price tag of over Rs.4 lakhs if the price in dollar is converted to Rupees.
In India though, we believe the bikes would have a price tag of under Rs.3 lakhs. Bookings for both these bikes have already started.
While the Interceptor is focussed more towards long bike riders, the Continental GT is more of an urban café racer. Both the bikes use a 648cc 47HP air-cooled, SOHC, fuel-injected parallel-twin engine mated to a 6-speed transmission.
