Royal Enfield would launch a new model on the 26 th of March. Called Royal Enfield Bullet Trials, the bike has already been spotted testing in December 2018. The bike would be made available in two variants – Bullet Trials 350 and Bullet Trials 500.
A teaser video has been released and it shows one of the two bikes wading through water with the text “the most enduring tale in motorcycling”. Design wise, the Trials bikes takes heavy designing cues from Enfield’s trial bikes of the 1950s.
The two new models also likely to have the same engine and transmission as the older bikes. The bikes have been equipped with a taller handlebar with a crossbrace similar to that of the Interceptor. The Trials bikes would be fitted with off-roading tyres and the rear seats would most likely be replaced with luggage rack.
