The Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus will be launched in India on the 30th of this month. The 500 Pegasus is a limited edition model and only 1000 units will be sold globally. From these 1000 units, 250 units have been reserved for India. The bike will only be sold online and not in any Royal Enfield dealerships.
The Classic 500 is inspired from the Royal Enfield RE/WD 125 (Flying Flea) which was used by British Paratroopers during the World War II. While internationally the bike is sold in Olive Drab Green and Service Brown color shades, in India only the Service Brown will be made available since Olive Green is reserved for armed forces.
The bike will have a Pegasus logo on its fuel tank which will differentiate it from the regular Royal Enfield Classics.
