Bollywood actor Salman Khan along with his Being Human Foundation launched two new electric bicycles for a price ranging from Rs 40,000 for the base trim and Rs 57,000 for the top end variant.
The actor launched the new electric cycles on June 5 to mark World Environment Day and also do his bit towards a cleaner environment. Salman Khan, along with his brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan, rode to the venue in Mehboob Studio, Mumbai from his residence in Bandra. The electric cycles goes on sale from today.
The two new electric cycles- Being Human E-Cycle – BH27 and BH12 comes with a range of 30 kms and top speed of 25kmph. The Being Human electric cycles took almost 1.5 years to build. The new electric cycles comes with a charged battery pack that helps in the propulsion system of the electric cycles. This also helps in reducing the exertion while climbing steep areas.
Both the electric cycles come in four colour options- white, yellow, red and black. More variants will soon be introduced. Indian automaker Mahindra and Mahindra is all set to introduce the facelifted Scorpio in the Indian market. Ahead of that the launch details of the updated Scorpio has been revealed.
Mahindra is likely to launch the Scorpio facelift by the end of July or early August 2017. The exterior design of the SUV will get a major overhaul. The 2017 facelifted Scorpio is likely to draw power from the existing 2.2-litre have diesel engine producing 120bhp and 280Nm of torque. The major changes will be done to the transmission of the SUV.
