While Jaguar Land Rover may not have that much in hand like the other Luxury manufacturer Audi, Mercedes-Benz or BMW but they still have lot to celebrate for September. According to reports from JLR, they have achieved their best ever sales figure for the month of September and also reported a big rise in the all major markets. JLR reported at total sales of about 36,652 units which is about 22% higher than the September last year. Land Rover reported selling about 30,652 units which is about 31% higher than the last year. The growth has mainly been observed in the sales of Range Rover Evoque, Discovery and Sports models.
In addition to the above figures, JLR has more to look ahead. The all new Range Rover was showcased recently and is scheduled to start delivery by 2012 end or early 2013. Jaguar however didn’t do quite well and reported sales of about 6,255 units which is about 7% less than the last year. But Jaguar is expecting to pick up some pace with the launch of new power trains and all wheel versions of XJ, XF and XF Sportsback.
At a whole JLR has delivered about 269,115 vehicles around the world which is about 37% higher than the last year’s figure for the first nine months. Jaguar delivered about 41867 units which is about 11% higher and Jaguar Land Rover sold about 227,248 units with 44% growth.
