Things that Skoda are not able to correctly name their upcoming new sedan, the Skoda Rapid have finally been laid to rest with name of the new sedan being put up officially as Skoda Rapid. Not only this, to commemorate the 400 episodes completed by the NDTV’s ‘The Car And Bike Show’, Skoda Auto are going to unveil the car to the public on the 400th episode. This episode would be aired in two parts and the timings for the same would be October 15th at 1.30 Pm and on the subsequent day at 7.00 Pm. The channel which would airing this show is NDTV Profit.
The host of the show and also the Editor, Siddharth Vinayak Patankar, said that they had started out this project in the year 2003 and it was the commitment from his team that they should provide the best in the automotive business to their viewers that they have reached the milestone of 400 episodes. Skoda India’s Marketing & Board Member-Sales, Thomas Kuehl said that the Skoda Rapid would be Skoda’s gift to the Indian car buying public and it would be the first compact limousine and one which is accessible as well. Moreover, the Skoda Rapid would first be launched in India and then passed onto the rest of the world. Skoda’s recent Mission L program’s first missile is the Rapid and subsequently other cars would follow.
In the same program, Skoda Auto would also take the opportunity to unveil two new base variants of their Superb as also Yeti models. NDTV’s ‘The Car And Bike Show’ would also feature the Hero Impulse and also Hyundai’s small car, the Eon. Most of the industry giants have sent in congratulatory messages to Siddharth and his team for the completion of 400 episodes spawning 8 years.
