A special edition model of the Skoda Rapid has been launched in India. Called Rapid Rider, the car has been priced at Rs.6.99 lakhs. At this price, the Rapid Rider costs Rs.1 lakh less than the base petrol version.
The Rapid Rider will be available in Candy White and Carbon Steel paint scheme and gets an all-black grille, black B-pillar and trunk lip. On the inside, it gets a dual-tone finish. The dash is black while all the upholstery is Ivory slate white.
Safety features of the Rapid Rider include ABS, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, rear defogger and an anti-glare rearview mirror. Other features include central locking, a front and rear-centre armrest, tilt and telescopic adjustable power steering, DIN audio system and rear AC vents.
