As we are speculating for the India launch, Mahindra Group owned Ssangyong Motor had finally revealed the Korando C facelift at the Seoul Marina in Yeouido. The New Korando C has received a major facelift including a newly designed interior and body, as well as more convenient amenities. It is said to be made available across all the company’s dealerships in Korea.
Korando C facelift is a premium urban leisure vehicle, or ULV. And in the new avatar interior and body are redesigned drastically, where the driver’s seat and its surrounding area have received a significant facelift, giving it a totally new look with greater market appeal.
The new front-end of Korando C features projector headlamps with a black bezel and LED position lights, body colored front grille with chrome molding, and the air intake grill in line with the bumper. The innovative design changes on the front fascia add strokes to the strong and sleek design of this upgraded model.
Rear has also been altered to contribute to the uniqueness of the new shape. A C-shaped guide light, representing the identity of the New Korando C, has been introduced in the rear combination tail light and the embossing of the Korando C lettering stands out much more.
The newly designed 18” alloys also speaks a lot for itself on the outers.
In addition, the powertrain is tweaked to improve efficiency by up to 8.4% when driving in Eco mode, giving it a fuel economy of up to 12.8 km/l in 2-Wheel Drive (Automatic Transmission). The manual transmission model boasts the best fuel economy in its class of 17.2 km/l in 2-Wheel Drive, offering the driver both an exhilarating and economical driving experience.
On inside, a 7-inch touch screen with a navigation system and advanced 3D map, as well as an Infinity sound system by the Harman Group makes the pampering move. Whereas, a customer can choose from the six different trims to suit his set of needs in the best possible option available as per his pocket.
