At the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, it was seen that Ssangyong has entered the market with a full-fledged MPV. This new MPV, called the ‘Rodius’, has been designed with the objective to fulfill a wide range of purposes. The dynamic and strong appearance of the car makes it look extra large with its stylish exteriors. The car can be used in a number of situations like transporting large sized families, urban commutations to various places as well as leisure pursuit. The car is said to be a clear representation of Ssangyong’s philosophy of robust, specialty and premium.
When it comes to the robust appeal and the internal space of the vehicle, Rodius has an advantage over all its competitors in the MPV segment. The car has been powered by an e-Xdi200, 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that is capable of producing power up to 155PS with a maximum torque of 360Nm.
Some of the additional features of the car are the built-in audio system with Bluetooth, trapezoidal bumpers and the hexagonal shaped radiator grille. Talking about the safety of the passengers and the driver, the car features Active Roll Over Protection (ARP), Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Brake Assist System (BAS). Combinations of all these features provide a high degree of safety.
