Americans hate Suzuki but Indians love it, and that’s what making them to grudge their automotive teeth deeper in the country. For the most exciting vehicle caught on test to Suzuki buffs, a Suzuki Grand Vitara compact SUV is spotted doing test rounds in Germany. However, the testing seems to be in its initial stage, where the front grille and headlamps are planted for temporary purpose. Although, heavy camouflages have kept it covered like a good old secret, while it is termed to measure 4.5 meters from bumper to bumper and 1.7 meters in height. Approximately, 100 kg of weight are expected to be trimmed off the compact vehicle comparatively to the elder sibling Vitara, using more advanced fabrication methods.
Under hoods, it could be the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine of production specific Kizashi, or the 2-liter turbo engine that came along with the Kizashi concept during 2007 at various auto shows.
The compact Grand Vitara prototype looks to be a 4×4 variant, and is find taking cues from iV-4 shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year.
Hopefully, the final version may be able to see the daylight during the Paris Motor Show later this year.
In fact, this vehicle could be for various developing markets, but doesn’t seems having a hope for US, because the company rolled up its entire operations from States due to lack of demand.
