Official images of the Suzuki Jimny have been released ahead of its unveiling in Japan. The car was spied earlier and consequently several leaked images were released all over the internet.
These official images only confirm what we saw in those leaked photos. The Jimny has a rugged exterior and a plush interior. The new Jimny carries its tradition box shaped design. Much of the styling of the Jimny is quite similar to the Mercedes G-Class with squared week arches and new tail light location on the bumper.
On the inside, the car gets a touchscreen infotainment system and various buttons and dials for controls.
There’s no word on the engine options for the Jimny, but sources say the car would come with a turbocharged 1.0-litre three-pot Boosterjet powering it.
