Popular Indian fashion designer, Swapnil Shinde who is known for his simple and elegant designs, recently presented a collection modeled on the new Fiesta at the Fiesta Cafe in New Delhi. The collection termed as ‘Ford Fiesta Futuristic Collection’ inculcates the futuristic and bold styling of the Fiesta in its designs.
The designs were chic and trendy in nature and managed to capture the global DNA of the Ford Fiesta in its designs. Designer Swapnil Shinde managed to capture many of underlying design theme of the car into his creation, this included bold colour from the car’s vivid shades, the car’s kinetic design inspired flowing lines and the car’s aesthetic spirit and dynamics resulted in smart cuts in his outfits.
Swapnil managed to bring to life the prominent features of this car in its collection. The collection had everybody entranced with its impressive and contemporary styling borrowed from the Ford Fiesta.
Shinde said that the new Ford Fiesta is an energetic and refreshing touch to style and design. The idea of incorporating the car’s kinetic design theme in his creation was an inspiration for him. It was a great opportunity for him to be able to design a collection, which is a tribute for the innovative and stylish Fiesta that has been gaining a lot of interest even before it was officially launched.
The MD and President of Ford India, Michael Boneham, present at the event said that the idea of being associated to the scintillating and fast paced fashion industry. He added that his collection brought out the smart substance which they can see appealing to their target audience. He also said that he was happy that the Fiesta Café is a hot spot for mall visitors. They will continue engaging with their customers over here.
The event saw many popular model present, like Lakshmi Rana and Carol Gracias walking the ramp for Shinde’s collection. The show was very well carried out; it was choreographed by none other than Achala Sachdev, who transformed the Café to a stylish hot spot. Also worth mentioning, was the fact that this show was streamed live on the Facebook page for Ford Fiesta, drawing fashion enthusiasts and fans to this event.
