The Indianapolis 500 recently celebrated their 100th anniversary. Marking this event was a world record 332 ft truck jump carried out by as a nice marketing gimmick by Hot Wheels. The brickyard saw stunt driver Tanner Foust warming up the audience with his record breaking jump for a 4 wheeler.
Foust drove down a ramp that highly resembled those yellow ramps available with Hot Wheels cars, in their Fearless at the 500 promo. Foust drove a Pro 2 modified truck, gathering sufficient speed during launch to create a 332 ft jump world record, which beats the old jump record by around 31 ft.
Foust’s identity was kept secret till the jump on Sunday. Earlier teaser videos of the word record jump had the driver’s identity pixilated. Foust practiced for months, before breaking the world jump record.
