Tata Aria, one of the best Tata cars available on the planet but not being sold in numbers, now gets a hefty discount of Rs 1 lakh for pushing the sales more aggressively.
Though, it consciences clearly Tata crossover wasn’t in good shape earlier which it got a so huge discount during this festive season.
Being a bit precise, earlier Aria LX 4×2 used to cost Rs 9.95 lakh which it now costs Rs 8.95 lakh ex-showroom due to the aforesaid deduction.
Thus, the new Aria was recently rolled out for the 2014 marquee, which the additional discount will add this vehicle to a whole fray of rivals. It could be the Mahindra XUV 500 entry-level variant which costs Rs 10.8 lakh, and Innova E Euro 4 that comes priced for Rs 10.49 lakh.
Underneath the bonnet, Tata Aria comes powered by a 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine which makes 150PS and 320Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The top-of-line Prestige trim comes benefited by a 4WD system while the standard is rear wheel drive layout.
