Most of us had seen the Tata Bolt at Delhi Auto Expo 2014, but how does it fares on road, had anyone imagined?
Needed not to close your eyes and incline into imagination. Here at the blog we brought the images from internet which is enough to serve the hunger of it getting rolled off soon on the Indian roads.
Draped in red paint shade, it has an impressive appearance. But not to be deprived off, Bolt always gave us a feel of Tata car from every angle. Though, it may be the reason the Tata hatchback is holding the same platform of Vista underneath, or some can also call it as a re-skinned Vista.
It is expected the Tata Bolt to be powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol four-cylinder Revotron engine delivering 85 PS @ 5,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque @ 1,750-3,000 rpm. The diesel variant will be gulped with the 1.3-liter Quadrajet engine of 75 PS and 190 Nm of torque.
The car is about to get on the production floor by July 2014, where the launch could be concluded around the festive season in October/November.
Most importantly, if the India based carmaker wanted to sell it in number, then it must improve the drive quality immensely.
