Tata is leaving no stone unturned to make its mark in the universe and these days Egyptians are also looking forward for having a taste of India in their homeland.
The president of Egypt Mr. Mohamed Morsi is on a three day visit to India and it is his first trip over here since after the end of dictatorship era. Though, this African delegation wants to throw light on bilateral trade and investment provisions over here.
Thus, purpose of the visit can be further categorized from Egyptian Minister of Investment and Trade Mr. Osama Saleh’s saying, “We will be meeting senior officials from the Tata Group to discuss investments in both automobiles and hotels segment;” meanwhile which is also added with, “We do not have any Indian automobile manufacturer in Egypt…We import two-wheelers from Bajaj Auto… So now we hope to see Tatas manufacturing in Egypt”.
Hence, it clearly shows that Indian framed metals have become most sought after product in world and post the acquisition of JLR by Tata, everyone had gone gaga over our homeland based industries.
As of now, bespoken hotel segment is going to take backseat which will be firstly followed by inked papers of chemical sectors, and then lately, officials of oil company and energy sector are also on the list of this delegation.
On an important note, India had already pumped $ 2.5 billion in Egypt being ranked as the seventh largest investment made by our nation.
