The other day we reported that Ashok Leyland bagged a huge order from a logistics company and it is now the turn of Tata Motors. Reportedly, Tata Motors have got an order of about 250 Prima trucks from a certain company named as LINFOX Logistics. This company is actually a supply chain solutions company which is privately owned and has been operating for about 50 years in the Asia-Pacific region.
LINFOX Logistics currently has an old fleet of trucks and ever since Tata Motors began delivery of these trucks in October 2010, the logistics company is looking forward to replace its entire fleet with the modern new age trucks from Tata Motors. These trucks are also one of the high end ones that Tata Motors have in their entire fleet. It is said that by March 2011, Tata Motors would have delivered the entire consignment of trucks to the logistics company. It now seems that the subtle truck market competition would intensify.
