Overall, Tata Motors sold 75733 vehicle units but not a single car apart from Tata Nano registered a positive sales trend. It appears that just as Tata looks to be pessimisticregarding India so are the car purchasers not so excitedregarding the third biggest car manufacturer.
All Tata cars comprising Tata Indica, Tata Indigo, Tata Safari, Tata Sumo and Tata Aria all registered drop in monthly sales. Industry specialists think that the reason why the company’s vehicles are selling low is mainlybecause of the slump in demand during the last month of 2012.
In the meantime, other thinks that it is Tata Nano individual game, which it seems to have lost. Where other car manufacturerslike Maruti, Hyundai and Mahindra have had a series of introductions, there is not a single launch by Tata in 2012.
Only the Tata Nano CNG, Tata Safari Stormeare hitting headlines and no other car is making a humat the moment. These two cars are expected anytime this month and it is anticipated that these cars could put in some decent numbers to increase the dropping sales to some extent.
Interestingly, Tata Nano sales during September witnessed an augmentation of more than 22.82% and more than 5491 units of Nano were sold during September as against 2936 vehicle units that the company could sell in September 2011.
This is the only attainment that the car manufacturer has obtained in September 2012 and except this all cars have lost their luster. Overall, the company sold 75,773 vehicle units ofcars during the last month which is 4% lower than what it had sold during September 2011.
