According to certain reports, launch of the Tata Nexon AMT variant will take place mid way through the IPL, which means the car could be launched anytime during the first week of May since IPL would conclude on May 27th.
The Nexon is, in fact, official sponsor of the IPL and Tata wants to cash in on this event by launching the car during this tournament.
Apart from a new 6-speed automatic manual transmission, the Nexon AMT would also introduce a new color options to the range – a bright orange. The company is expected to offer the AMT models in only a mid-spec ‘XTA’ grade and a range-topping ‘XZA’ and ‘XZA+’ grades.
