A couple of year back Tata Motors brought in the new Safari called as “Storme” to India with high dose of expectations. Fallen flat on its head, the customers disliked it amidst the flooded market. They missed the spare wheel at rear which remained one of the major drawbacks for the Tata Motors.
However, in a one more attempt, Safari Storme is gaining a facelift for a comeback, confirmed via the latest spy-shots. Camouflaged to the least, test vehicle was spotted near Pune.
As per the speculations, SUV will gain new front fascia with the revised front grille and revamped bumpers. Sides and rear of the vehicle shall remain untouched. Inside, the cabin too is astounded for upgrades in form of new upholstery, Harman music system, steering mounted control and front-facing third-row. With that addition coming in way, second row seats may receive captain treatment.
Under the bonnet, technicalities shall be continued with the same 2.2L VariCor diesel engine developing 150PS and 320NM of torque.
