Tiago JTP, the performance version of the popular hatch Tiago, has been seen testing. The Tiago JTP has been developed by Tata Motors in partnership with Jayem Auto of Coimbatore. The Tiago JTP will be powered by Tata Nexon’s 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with modified intake and exhaust.
The engine is capable of giving out a peak output and torque of 110HP and 150Nm respectively. The engine will be mated to a five-speed gearbox. Visually, the Tiago JTP will look a lot different from its standard counterpart.
The car would look more aggressive with modified front and rear bumpers, sporty side skirts, faux rear diffuser and projector headlamps. On the inside, the car would get an all black theme with contrast stitching finish on seats.
