After the launch of Indica Vista D90 – a more powerful hatchback, now Tata unveiled D90 based crossover at Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Delhi.
Nowadays, Tata is not leaving any opportunity unattended. It is very keen to cash in some very hot segments of the ongoing auto trend. Safari Storme is also launched with the same intention. No to doubts, many of the product gaps were left unfilled in profile of Tata Motors for some long vying years.
As of now, the Indian carmaker unveiled yellow dressed D90 SUV concept with many positive streaks flurrying on it. Major attention drawer was the rear mounted spare wheel which gave in all the bump of Sports and Utility at a glance. Air vents on the front fascia, redesigned rear bumpers, 16” stunning alloys, blackened roof and attractive roof rails were some other fascination tweaks that did well for the exteriors.
On interiors, it is charmed with black leather seats featuring yellow stitches, aluminum gear knob, aluminum pedals and satin silver finished door levers. Overall, seating arrangement was spacious and roomy, provided with lumbar and thigh support.
Engine bay looks fitted with the same Fiat’s Multijet oil burner milling out 105 PS.
This crossover SUV will whip the Renault Duster and Ford Eco Sport when it will be rolled out at an expected price of something near to 7 lakh figure, but in a competitive tone, as Tata is famous for the same.
Launch dates are assumed near to the end of 2013.
