Tata’s dream of Zest-ing the compact sedan segment has reached 10,000 sales since after going on floor by July 19.
The launch of sub 4-meter Tata car was much needed to cater the segment that Maruti was selling in whopping numbers quite over number of years. It isn’t been two months completely for the model to have hit the sales bay, grossing a 10,000 limit just speaks itself about the customers’ response towards the acceptance.
Presently, the waiting period is also charged on the purchase of Zest for six months, but those who going for an AMT variant shall have to wait only for three to four months.
Thankfully, the Zest is India’s first diesel automatic car in its category, so expectations are established of cashing it extensively till any further rival arrives.
Under the bonnet, rests a 1.2L Revetron petrol engine of 90PS/140NM given away in three states of tune: City, Eco and Sport. The 1.3L Fiat Multijet diesel motor is churned out in two power specifications, 75PS/190Nm and 90PS/200Nm.
Tata Motors has designed this car from Europe especially for India which is why the result is adorable and the unexpected interior replicates that same story. Seven color options available, the Zest is provided between a price range of Rs 4.64 and Rs 6.99 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
