Team India wins ROC Asia

On Friday, Team India won the Race of Champions (ROC) Asia in its debut attempt after defeating Japan. The drivers behind the wheels were none other than Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok. Both the drivers won 3 out of 4 races (individual) and 4 out of 6 races in the group stage as well as the final by 2-0.

On Saturday, for ROC Nations Cup, the duo will be in seen in the same group as the defending champions and enjoying the company of the legendary Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel.

Narain was very much excited about the victory and said “It is an incredible feeling to be a part of Team India’s success in the ROC Asia in only our first visit. It has been really tough with limited track time but at the end of the day we pulled it off.”

Karun too enjoyed the Narain’s company. He added “Am really happy for Narain and me as we did a fantastic job to win ROC Asia. The competition was really strong and we were pushed harder than we thought.”
