Only people with age of less than 45 years, who have conducted solo shows in India over last one year demonstrating their braced vision, innovationand maturity in understanding of material and form, are eligible. The winner of The Skoda Prize will be showered with a cash prize of Rs.10,00,000 along with the grand title of ‘The Skoda Prize Winner’. Now if you feel that it’s the winner only, who cashes in on the award ceremony with such grand prizes, I must say you’re wrong. In The Skoda Prize 2011, two runner ups were awarded with a 4-week residency in Switzerland, which is supported by Swiss Arts Council, Pro Helvetia.
