If bigger is better, BMW might be bringing its best yet to the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. Expected to be christened as 9 Series Super Luxury Concept, the production version of the vehicle will hit showrooms sometime in 2016 and will replace the 7 Series as a flagship sedan for BMW. The top-of-the-line model will specifically cater to the affluent Chinese customers and is believed to be based on the forthcoming lightweight platform of the G11 7 Series which reduces the weight of the high-end 7 Series to the weight of the current F10 5 Series.
According to the sources, the Beijing Motor Show will also provide some ideas around future customer needs when it comes to interior infotainment and luxury systems.
That’s all we have for now, but we expect to learn more next week. Stay tuned!
