There are enough of smart Alex(s) who just manage to get their hands on the clear yet undisguised test-mule of the upcoming vehicles quite before their launch. The facelift version of Toyota Corolla Altis that once raised its voice in the rumours now presumably received a clear-shot prior to the unveiling.
It is evident from the image, only minute tweaks are up for the grabs with this new skin, but still one can validate it as a facelift with regards to new bumpers, revamped front grille with black inserts and restricted usage of chrome. In fact, the daytime running lights positioned vertically on either side of the front bumper adds to the last tint of it on the front, backed by those black side-skirts for those viewing from the sides.
Turning to rear, a scooped out bumper takes on the spot complimenting the fixed spoiler on tail gate. And clear tail lamps make a move further to engage the young buyers. Though, source didn’t report any change inside the cabin.
Well, engine specifications too may get carried over from the existing generation, where some explains the maker shall declare a hybrid version at some Asian motor shows in near future.
Note: This Toyota Corolla Altis facelift is not for India.
