Since, the tenth anniversary of Innova made a mark with the Limited Edition, Toyota did seemed to make this day more worthy by launching the Fortuner 4×4 AT in India.
Earlier, the big-footed SUV of Toyota was available with the automatic transmission only in 4×2 trim, but now the power to front and rear axles will also be controlled with the ‘5-speed auto gearbox’ (a regular torque-converter unit).
Fortuner 4×4 AT is priced between Rs 24.17 lakh and Rs 26.49 lakh (ex-Showroom New Delhi).
Power is supplied by the existing 3.0-litre diesel engine churning out 158bhp and 241Nm of torque.
Buyers can also go for the TRD Sportivo body kit for an aggressive appearance.
Now, the Fortuner in India is available in the trims of 4×4 AT, 4×2 AT, 4×4 MT and 4×2 MT. Since, with the launch that laid back loophole in the lineup appears completed.
